Daemun of Khanid WIP
Original BIO Daemun of Khanid
Just over 40 years ago, Amarrian missionaries stumbled across a lone stasis pod on the outskirts of what is now known as Khanid space. The pod was intact and within it was a small child less than a year in age. The pod itself appeared to have been in open space for potentially hundreds of years and the only markings on the pod to indicate it's origin were badly worn and essetially unreadable. The missionaries transported the pod and child to the nearest monastery where it was determined that the child was of pure Amarrian decent and that the stasis pod was in sufficient working condition to awaken him. Once awake, the child was raised and educated by the clergy. With no information as to the child's origin beyond the badly damaged escape pod, the clergy chose to name the child Daemun after the missionary priest who located the pod. Over time, he came to be known as Daemun of Khanid.
Recent Events... [Private quarters of Daemun Khanid, 24th Imperial station Mehatoor] Daemun Khanid sits at a desk in his office reviewing combat logs and developing future tactics. The desk is moderately sized desk with a black glass top and very little rests on top of it other than a small orderly stack of data pads. A red light embedded withing in the glass in the lower right corner begins to flash indicating an incoming message. The discreet light indicating by it's color and location a message classified and most likely from non-official channels. Daemun slides aside the data pad from the middle of the desk and places a thumb over the flashing red light initiating a print scan. Once his identity had been confirmed, an area roughly twelve by twelve inches in the center of the desk illuminates with the contents of the incoming message. "Lord Khanid, We have completed our analysis of the materials you provided. Based on the results of our metallurgical analysis conducted on the hull fragments, there can be little doubt that the originating vessel was destroyed as a result of attack by high level energy weapons. The encrypted hand written logs were also successfully decoded and reveal significant dates and detailed information concerning the events leading up to the vessels destruction as well as full records of the ships crew. The logs confirm that the year of the ships destruction was 21949. This in combination with our wreckage analysis can prove conclusively that the vessel from which your stasis pod originated was destroyed by an Amarrian warship, during and most likely as a direct result of the Moral Reforms. The decoded logs also revealed the names of both of your parents as well as your birth name. Father: ██████████ Mother:██████████ Child: ██████████ Attached is a copy of the detailed analysis as well as a full break down of the ships logs including their mission. We do hope that you find our efforts in this matter satisfactory and we await final payment for services rendered at your convenience. V.R. The Analyst" Having finished reading the message and downloading the accompanying files, Daemun spent a better part of the next hour reading through what had turned out to be the personal logs of his birth parents. Once finished, he spent a few moments staring directly into the wall ahead of his desk contemplating the significance of what he'd just discovered then rose and made his way over to a small bar by the rooms entrance. Once there he poured his typical glass of water. Small, clear, unaltered and nourishing but ultimately without substance. During working hours and even rare occasion outside of that did he drink anything else. A habit... a lesson... a requirement, of his faith. He stared for a moment at the the bottom the glass that might as well have been empty and all at once the anger welling inside him erupted on the surface of his being with force a dozen lifetimes spent building. The glass shattered in his hand. The safety glass it was made of reduced to little more than rough dust. It's pieces powdered like sand slipping through his fingers and falling to the floor. With little hesitation he then reached back for the bar and selected another glass, filling it this time he thought "with something of substance." God speed PIE. Amarr victor.
